Yeti rear triangle repair + repaint
The Yeti bikes are great quality, however this one had a major stone chip on the bottom chainstay. It needed attention before it got worse. A few taps with a $2 coin revealed there were broken fibres inside. It makes a ‘thud’ sound and its easy to hear the difference when you tap different parts of the frame. It’s a low-tech method that works well every time. No need for expensive Xray scans! They are a waste of time.
4 layers tightly wrapped with epoxy resin. I noticed there were a few stone chips and scrapes that weren’t structural, so I tidied these up and included it in the price. Resprayed and kept the graphics intact. I had some left over paint that matched so I took $50 off the initial quote. It all helps!
